Magical passes are bodily movements, position and breaths discovered in dreaming by the seers of ancient Mexico, and practiced for their remarkable effect on vigor, weel-being and awareness. The modern version of these movements is called Tensegrity: a combination of tension and integrity, the driving forces of the magical passes, and of dreaming.
Tension in the case of dreaming, refers to the intense concentration and purpose, as well as the aquiescence, that it requires. Integrity is allowing the intent of infinity to permeate all of one's actions.
The magical passes, don Juan told his students, can bring the mood of dreaming into our daily actions, annd the energy to listen to the vibration of intent itself-what the dreamers of ancient Mexico called the voice of the seer within.

What is Tensegrity:

Tensegrity is taught as a system of movements, because that is the only manner in which the mysterious and vast subject of the magical passes could be faced in a modern setting. The people who now practice Tensegrity are not shaman pratictioners in search of shamanistic alternatives that involve rigorous discipline, exertion and hardships.
